Torsten Matthes

Torsten Matthes is a 41-year-old tattoo artist from Leipzig, Germany, currently based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Torsten is a long time artist, regardless of the medium. He began his apprenticeship in Germany, and after 12 years, a media design degree, and 2 shops, he decided to bring his skills to the US. Having tattooed in Texas and South Florida for a few years, he’s settled for now in Jacksonville, Florida. Torsten is now nearing his 20th year of professional tattooing, and continues to work with former apprentice and now wife, Kristin Matthes.
